Moderna, Inc., a biotechnology firm that pioneered mRNA (messenger RNA) vaccines and therapies, today announced the start of its AI (Artificial Intelligence) Academy, an innovative program that will deliver an immersive learning experience for workers in collaboration with CMU (Carnegie Mellon University).The AI Academy seeks to empower and educate workers at all levels in order to apply and identify ML and AI solutions into every procedure and system for providing mRNA medications to patients.
“Moderna is pushing mRNA therapeutics at unparalleled speed, breadth, and scale in the biopharmaceutical industry,” said Stéphane Bancel, CEO of Moderna.This one-of-a-kind program will provide a personalized curriculum designed for working professionals on subjects such as data quality and visualization, statistical reasoning and models, machine learning algorithms, and AI ethics.
